Project Summary:

The six-year USAID-funded Harmoni activity will promote tolerance and inclusion and reduce the risk of violent extremism. Harmoni will focus support on interventions that are narrowly targeted towards communities and individuals most at risk of radicalization, with a mandate to build the resilience of key Indonesian institutions – governmental, civil society, religious, and community-based – that represent the frontline in preventing violent extremism in Indonesia. Position Summary:

The Reintegration and Rehabilitation (R&R) Program Manager will be responsible for overall implementation, reporting, and communications related to the reintegration, rehabilitation, and deradicalization component of Harmoni. The Manager will oversee the design, development, and management of grants and work cooperatively with program staff and partners to contribute to Harmoni’s success. This position will report directly to the Chief of Party (COP).

 

Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage Harmoni reintegration, rehabilitation, and deradicalization programming in close coordination with grantees, educational institutions, government agencies, CSOs, and other project partners.
  • Draft sections of core Harmoni deliverables, including annual work plan, quarterly and annual progress reports, and Harmoni’s final report.
  • Develop success stories and other marketable materials to share with USAID and external audiences as appropriate.
  • Work with the MEL team to support grantee monitoring and capturing of good practices and learning and scale for relevant stakeholder distribution.
  • Oversee the timely execution of activities, in accordance with agreed project and grantee implementation schedules.
  • Work closely with operations team to support relevant R&R procurement actions.
  • Ensure evaluation findings and recommendations are transparent and distributed to relevant stakeholders.
  • Build strong working relationships with USAID and Harmoni partners, grantees, and counterparts related to project implementation.
  • Perform other duties at the request of the COP to further the achievement of Harmoni’s programmatic objectives.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related technical fields required. Master’s degree preferred. 
  • Minimum seven years of relevant work experience required.  
  • Experience with surveys, data management and analysis preferred.  
  • Experience with project communications, including success stories and quarterly reports. 
  • Ability to tackle complex issues and work as part of a team.
  • Ability to work on own initiative with little direction, to meet tight deadlines, and to prioritize among multiple tasks. 
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, organizational, attention to detail, and communication skills.
  • Strong familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite applications. 
  • Strong spoken and written skills in English required.
