The ultimate goal of this project is to enhance the skills and knowledge of teenagers to enable to access and use the internet in a safe and effective way.

The outcomes of this project are:

1. Improve the legal framework, advise on the mechanisms needed to strengthen national infrastructure and improve criminal justice and social care capacity to respond to OCSEA.
2. Engages children and young people to adopt stronger approaches to online safety and education programs for youth, with the aim of embedding this in national curricula  
3. Engages families and caregivers in preventing the sexual exploitation and abuse of children and responding to harmful or otherwise unwanted experiences online. 

The responsibilities, duties, and qualifications are described in the attached position description. The position is contingent upon approval of the grant application/donor funding.


DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

LEADERSHIP
Provide leadership in the implementation of project activities within approved plans, budgets, and agreements, and in compliance with organizational policies/ procedures, operational systems, and donor requirements and regulations.
Coordinate with Project  Manager (Pimpinan Proyek) of Core Partner to reach program quality delivery 
Implement the project as per approved document (end to end)

 
STRATEGIC PLANNING
Contribute to the planning process of the project, responsible from end to end of implementation, and do routine/ regular monitoring program activities by providing technical inputs based on relevant field-based experiences.
Conduct program/project monitoring visits, and spot checks in the areas of assignment and address identified performance problems or discrepancies.
Develop Advocacy and Sustainability Plan of the project in discussion with Local Partners
Bringing the project to get buy-in and consider as a model by district education offices

NETWORK/PARTNERSHIP
Build relationships and collaborate with partners (GO’s, NGOs, Schools, institutions, media and others) at local levels to speed up the project implementation, increase resource sharing and complementation (financial, technical, etc.).
Maintain a positive relationship with a donor through preparation and submission of timely and high- quality reports and documentation.
Work with the finance team to manage the budgets, track spending, and ensure timely financial reporting.
Liaise with ChildFund network and update the project in the network

CAPACITY BUILDING
Assist and collaborate with concerned staff in the conduct of initiatives aimed to enhance program quality and secure additional funding to support and expand services to enrolled families and children.
Provide technical skills and manage training as planned in the project

QUALITY of PROGRAM
Ensure the quality of program delivery as agreed standard that has been developed in the project proposal
Consult with Technical Specialist and Monitoring and Evaluation

CHILD SAFEGUARDING
Remain alert and responsive to any child safeguarding risks, acquire relevant knowledge and skills which will enable you to promote strong safeguarding practices, understand the child safeguarding policy and procedures, and conduct yourself in a manner consistent with the child safeguarding policy
Other duties as assigned.
 


QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s degree, preferably in early education, psychology, Social Work or relevant human services discipline, or equivalent relevant work experience; advanced degree desirable

7-10 years of experience working in human services or social services and/or with non-profit organizations, preferably Child Right Campaign and Youth Project. 
Experience of managing project implementation, delivering on outputs and awareness of project requirements and priorities. 
Interested in children's development and education issues
Computer proficiency in common office software applications (i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook)
demonstrated experience with program cycle management (PCM) is preferred
Outstanding written and oral communication skills in English
Good oral/written communication and organizational skills
Must be able to travel to the project site, where applicable
