SurfAid is a non-profit organization which aims to improve the health, wellbeing, and self-reliance of people living in isolated regions connected to us through surfing. We have community-based health and food security programs in Mentawai, Sumba, and Sumbawa islands
We are looking for an experienced, resourceful person with a positive “CAN DO” attitude who is able to work independently as our:
PROGRAM LEARNING & DEVELOPMENT MANAGER (PLDM)
The Program Learning & Development Manager reports to the Deputy Director of Programs and is responsible for increasing the quality of programmes and interventions through continuous program learning and development.
THE PERSON:
You are a constructive team player, mature, hands-on, detailed oriented, and organized. You are resourceful and creative, and able to work independently. You are experienced in program management and interested in improving the standard of program implementation in the field that is relevant to the organization's values. You are used to dealing with issues and challenges and to be sent to remote areas to support our field teams and willing to travel in very basic conditions.
REQUIREMENTS:
7 years of experience in program & project management in the development sector
Understanding Social Behaviour Change Communications principles and understanding of cultural aspects of development
Understanding project management methodologies and understanding reporting frameworks
Having Technical Skills :
Learning & Documentation
Training development and implementation
Microsoft Office and Gmail & google based applications
Writing skills
Having analytical skill
Clear communication in Bahasa Indonesia and English
Multi-tasking, creative and resourceful CAN DO ATTITUDE!
Approachable, empathetic, and cooperative
Willing to stay/live with the characteristic of the people
