PROJECT OVERVIEW AND ROLE 

Program (ACTIVE) is a four-year, US$7.2 million public-private partnership with Mars Inc (Mars) and the Institute for Development Impact (I4DI) with an estimated period of from January 31, 2022 to January 30, 2026. As a partnership under the Global Development Alliance (GDA), ACTIVE seeks to scale up evidence-based agroforestry practices using farm-level technologies to advance climate-resilient practices, increase farmer incomes and practices, increase farmer incomes, and ensure the supply of high-quality cocoa. supply. Under the direction of ACTIVE Management and I4DI Management and will work with MEL Associate to implement the results measurement framework across USAID ACTIVE interventions.  

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Use the systems established by ACTIVE Management and I4DI Management to manage the program for upcoming USAID ACTIVE mock audits and AMELP audits and ensure ongoing compliance by the team to USAID Standards.

  • Ensures that all work is conducted using the MEL Manual and relevant tools.

  • Under the guidance of USAID ACTIVE Management and I4DI management, active in the Technical and Administrative aspects of the MEL Team. This is to assure:

    • Results measurement systems are in line with USAID standards and requirements.

    • The Intervention Documents for all interventions are updated and used.

    • Impact assessment calendars and budgets are in place and monitored.

    • Team develops high quality outcome chains and measurement plans for each partner and implementing these plans in a timely and collaborative manner. 

    • The indicators of inclusion are appropriate integration into the chain of outcomes and of the research plan.

    • All assessment results are massively analyzed and based on facts and field data.

    • That all goods and services are procured using USAID ACTIVE processes.

    • All MEL contracts are managed in line with USAID ACTIVE processes.

  • Proactively update the Impact Assessments Tracker, and manage the implementation and administration of impact assessments of simple business model interventions allocated to MEL.

  • Under the direction of USAID ACTIVE Management and I4DI management, preparing materials for reporting to USAID and other stakeholders including aggregations and aggregation of data. for reporting for USAID and other stakeholders including aggregation for monthly reports, quarterly reports, AIP reports, and other USAID and I4DI reporting. Required Qualifications:  
Essential
  • Minimum of undergraduate or postgraduate level education (in Statistics, Economics, Geography or relevant scientific field)

  • Have a minimum of three years of work experience in the field of monitoring and evaluation, outcome measurement, research, or rural development programs

  • Highly proficient in the use of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Google Sheet and other data management programs for data analysis.

  • Having an ability to detail, the ability to work independently, independence in completing tasks and proactivity in solving challenges.

  • Proven strong skills in qualitative and quantitative research design and data analysis (preferably in agricultural topic)

  • Proven skills in statistics

  • Proven written and oral proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia and English

  • Proven communication skills, including interpersonal and written.

Requested 
  • Experienced in data collection across different areas and across different backgrounds 

  • Excellent skills in STATA, CAPI, or other data collection and statistical tools.
