Yayasan WWF Indonesia, an independent national conservation organization, is part of a global network of WWF. Yayasan WWF Indonesia is seeking the best candidate for the LTC Project Coordinator position. This position will be based in Jakarta, and report directly to the Climate & Market Transformation Program Director. 


Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in development/social studies, natural resource management, biodiversity conservation, or relevant fields. 
  • Understand the concept of Inclusive conservation and the right-based approach in natural resources management.
  • Thorough understanding of the country's development and natural resource management. 
  • Have experience and knowledge of environmental and social safeguarding policies, including gender, conflict sensitivity, and participatory project management. 
  • Have a sufficient understanding of natural resource governance, indigenous peoples, agrarian reform, and social forestry.
  • Proven understanding of issues in related fields and working knowledge of policy/institutional context in social development and forest management in Indonesia. 
  • At least five years of practical experience in managing projects in either NGOs or bilateral development agencies, two years of which should be in related fields such as natural resource management. 
  • Adaptability in a fast-paced environment when strategies and operations are constantly evolving with needs and donor behavior
  • Demonstrated ability to listen deeply and grow an in-house culture of collaboration and mutual respect.
  • National and international environmental and social safeguards
  • Passion for nature conservation and sustainable development, coupled with a belief in the WWF Mission
  • Adherence to WWF’s values of Integrity, Respect, Collaboration, and Courage.
