Indonesia Global Compact Network (IGCN) is a local network of United Nations Global Compact (UNGC). The UN Global Compact is the world's largest corporate sustainability initiative with over 15,000+ participants in 170 countries. The UN Global Compact is a call to companies to align strategies and operations with universal principles on human rights, labor, environment and anti-corruption, and take actions that advance the societal goals.


IGCN promotes business networking, collaborative project opportunities, as well as sharing of lessons learned and best practices of responsible and sustainable business among its members and potential indicates.

Promote, facilitate and implement The UN Global Compact Ten Principles in Indonesia.


IGCN is looking for suitable candidates to fulfill a vacant position as Program Manager – Communications & Government Relations (PMCGR) with the following details:


Roles and Responsibilities

  1. Improve and maintain IGCN communications in the area of – but not limited to:

  1. Digital media (i.e. development and administration of website, social media, and online newsletter)

  2. News reports (i.e. period and annual reports)

  3. IGCN promotional tools (i.e. design and printing)

  4. Media relations (i.e. engagement with media and development of press release)

  5. IGCN internal & project communications support (i.e. Internal communications, knowledge management, database, presentation materials)

  1. Develop and maintain relations and provide support to all IGCN stakeholders, among others, UN in Indonesia, Government Offices, UNGC Headquarters, local network board, members, and partners - including IGCN role in Philanthropy& Business - SDGs for a Better Indonesia (FBI4SDGs) national forum  

  2. Leading projects to promote 10 Principles of UN Global Compact (i.e. Annual Gathering, COP/COE Clinic, exhibition booth, board meeting, and campaigns)


Qualifications

  1. Bachelor degree of communications, management, or any relevant major who has high interest in sustainable development

  2. Minimum 3 years work experience in the area that relevant to support the roles and responsibilities, especially to manage and implement communications strategy. Candidate with various organizational backgrounds is preferred.

  3. Excellent communications skills to engage wide range of stakeholders (Businesses, NGOs, academia, public) through online and offline campaigns

  4. High competency in Bahasa Indonesia and English (Written and verbal)

  5. Highly initiative, self driven and resourceful team player

  6. Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver the support in timely manner

  7. Proven experience in the area of communications and project management
