Know our team:

Nutrition International’s Operations unit is a dedicated team of program implementation experts who are responsible for contributing to the overall management of NI’s field operations in Asia and Africa. This position will provide technical leadership and develop capacity to support the implementation of maternal and child nutrition (MCN) interventions in the districts targeted by the Better Investment for Stunting Alleviation (BISA) project and MCN Projects of NI. This position will report to the Deputy Chief of Party (DCoP) and will support to design, implement, manage, monitor and report on the Project. This position will work closely with the Government of Indonesia, Save the Children (SC), donors and other stakeholders to ensure engagement on NI supported BISA project.

 

About you:

You are a mid-level public health professional and nutrition expert with extensive experience in program management or have held such roles in the past and have experience in working with Maternal, Child and Nutrition in managing and implementing multiple projects to ensure high quality programming in Indonesia. You have an excellent ability to develop internal and external partnerships and have collaborated with NGOs, UN agencies etc. or similar organizations working on public health and nutrition related programs.

 

About the role

In this role you will be responsible to support the Deputy Chief of Party with the following:

·         Support the development of concept notes and proposals related to SC/NI BISA Project, adding value by applying technical expertise and up-to-date subject awareness in maternal and child nutrition to ensure proposals are technically sound, realistic, achievable and sustainable

·         Coordinate and manage program activities including timely budget disbursements

·         Advocacy and liaison with the government and relevant organizations.

·         Overseeing the implementation of MCN-related activities and other activities are implemented according to plan, within the desired timeframe, and in line with the project design, meeting set targets.

·         Support in the design of the BCI strategy and interventions and development of BCI products for creating awareness.

·         Implementing partners and contract management.

·         Leading District teams to ensure program deliverables.

·         Support periodic data collection and validation for monitoring and reporting.

·         Field level monitoring and supportive supervision for field team.
