HR Manager for Vocational Training Center in North Bali

 Human Resources and Relationship Coordinator




AMISEWAKA is a vocational training center based in Desa Les, Tejakula, North Bali.  This facility will provide education to primarily low income students in a variety of vocational and sustainable subjects (culinary skills, permaculture agriculture, Living Values Education (nilai2 edukatif) and Cultural Preservation) as well as assist in job procurement.

There will be a training kitchen and restaurant on the grounds.





RESPONSIBILITIES:



This position is two fold in scope:

·      You will be responsible for the hiring of all staff (in consultation with the Project Director and the Center Manager)

·      Instigating and maintaining relationships with partners and sponsors



1.    Assisting Project Supervisor, Center Manager, Operations Consultant and Director of Academics/Curriculum in the creation of a Standard Operation Policy.

2.    Hiring of staff:  This includes admin, Satpam, kitchen and restaurant manager and teachers.

3.    Assist hiring and training of office/admin staff under your supervision and maintaining their HR records.

4.    Setting up BPJS and other insurance as needed, including property, fire and theft insurance.

5.    Assisting  Operations Consultant with procuring partners in the hospitality industry to help find internships and/or jobs for our students.  Creating partnerships with other businesses that would want to work with Amisewaka or provide opportunities for our students.

6.    Confers with members of industrial and business communities to determine human resource training needs for apprenticeable and nonapprenticeable occupations.

7.    Evaluates apprenticeable and nonapprenticeable programs, considering factors, such as selection, training, and placement of enrollees.

8.    Coordinates on-the-job training programs with employers, and evaluates progress of enrollees in conjunction with program contract goals.

9.    Reviews and interprets national and provincial vocational education codes to ensure that program conforms to legislation.

10.  In coordination with the Operations Consultant, Center Manager and Director of Academics, recruit students for the program (including home visits to ascertain poverty levels and willingness of student to be a part of Amisewaka)

11.  Representing the Center in the Public Sector.

12.  Finding sponsors (in kind and financial)

13.  Working with the Director of Academics and Curriculum for the after school program of short courses in English, Business Skills, Tailoring and more.

14.  Coordinating the rental of our meeting rooms

15.  Coordinating any events, catering, both on and off site.

16.  Instigating and maintaining staff morale.

17.  Perform long term administrative tasks such as maintain government/work permits and visas, make schedules and travel arrangements, and maintain records. 

18.  Must have a commitment to ensuring that the regulations of Amisewaka are followed.

19.  A commitment to Amisewaka’s values in reaching economically challenged sectors of society.



Skills:



1.    Indonesian national

2.    At least a S-1 degree.

3.    At least five years experience in HR and/or Community Liaison

4.    Advanced spoken and written English. Experience with foreign clients, co-workers and management.

5.    Excellent oral and written Indonesian and  preferably, oral in Balinese

6.    Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office; database and accounting programs; internet and website)

7.    Ability to work independently but also a team player, able to delegate, attention to detail.

8.    You will be a person with passion for your work and compassion for those less fortunate.  Your integrity and honesty and the ability to work with all layers of society will be of utmost importance.  A sense of humor interwoven with patience is a must!

9.    Willingness to live in East Buleleng.

10.  Willingness to undergo Living Values Education training



You will report to the Center Manager.
