Finance and Administrative Director – Indonesia EGE-Partnerships for Productive Workforce

Job Description: IDG is seeking an experienced Finance and Administrative (F&A) Director to lead the financial and administrative components of the anticipated USAID/Indonesia EGE-Partnerships for Productive Workforce (PADU) contract. The aim of the PADU activity is to enhance private sector investment in vocational training programs through partnerships with Technical and Vocational Training and Education (TVET) institutions.

 

The F&A Director will be responsible for leading and managing the overall financial and administrative operations of the PADU project. The F&A Director will work closely with the IDG Home Office staff, PADU’s senior leadership, and in-country finance and administrative staff. The F&A Director will lead a team comprised of other finance and administrative staff as required by the project.

 

Requirements:

 

• Provide overall financial and administrative leadership and management.

• Lead a team comprised of other finance and administrative experts as required by the project.

• Set up PADU’s financial and administrative systems, lead their implementation, and continuously improve the systems through adaptive management.

• Ensure the activities financial, operational, and administrative procedures strictly adhere to USAID, US Government, and Government of Indonesia policies and procedures.

• Serve as the main point of contact for all financial and administrative matters with field office and home office staff.

• Lead the financial and administrative planning and reporting, including submitting monthly / quarterly financial reports and field fund requests.

• Oversee project management systems for finance and administration, logistics, human resources, and strategic operation.

• Ensure the completion of timely ad hoc financial reports in response to requests from the IDG Home Office and USAID.

• Ensure the financial and administrative compliance with the terms and conditions of the Contract.

 

Qualifications:

• Advanced degree in finance, business administration, or a similar/related field.

• Minimum 10 years of professional working experience in finance and administration.

• Experienced in leading a finance and administrative team, including the professional development of those team members.

• Demonstrated progressive experience as a Finance Director and/or Manager or a similar role, preferably on USAID funded projects.

• Thorough working knowledge of USG operations, regulations, policies, procedures, and programs, especially related to financial and administrative procedures.

• A track record of programmatic accomplishment, professional achievement, management competence, interpersonal, capacity strengthening skills.

• Experience working in the Southeast Asia or Pacific Islands regions.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

• Indonesian nationality and verbal and written fluency in English required.
