 Finance and Admin Officer

Located: Jakarta

Alatan Asasta Indonesia (AAI) is a consulting, research and training company in the field of public policy, management and government administration.  AAI is trusted by The United States Department of Justice International Criminal Investigative Training Assistance Program (USDOJ / ICITAP) to manage and implement the Organizational Development Mentoring and Procurement Skill Training Project in collaboration with Indonesian Government Institutions.

AAI is seeking a dynamic and experienced professional for the full-time position of Finance Admin officer .

 

Objective:

To be responsible in the oversight and management of all of the organization’s finance and administration systems and operations;

Key Duties

The Finance & Admin officer will provide management of the finance functions for the project which include promote financial stewardship, accountability, reliability and accuracy of accounting and financial reports. S/he will also oversee and manage admin activities within the project.

  1. Provide proactive, accurate, timely and high-quality administrative work and to ensure proper filing, data and knowledge management in hard and soft/digital copies.
  2. Project/office maintenance and provide support to Program manager and Consultant team
  3. Manage organization budget and cash flow.
  4. Provide monthly financial report and tax
  5. Assist in maintaining the communication with the donor agencies, key stakeholders and be responsible for the overall integrity and coherence of the administrative and financial requirement of the project.
  6. Be responsible for effective implementation of the activities (training/workshop).
  7. Design, establish and maintain a central filing system for administration and ensure quick retrieval of files when needed.
  8. Assist the Project Manager and/or Project Staff in preparing the evaluation, annual and/or all kinds of reports on the administrative/finance matters.
  9. Perform other administrative tasks consistently with the overall scope for this post as directed by the Project Manager.

 

Qualifications:

 

  1. Bachelor Degree in Finance, Accounting, Management, Business Administration and/or related fields;
  2. Minimum Experience 5 (five) years of professional experience in financial administration, book keeping, filling and office administration 
  3. Strong integrity, honest, trustworthy and sound work ethics;
  4. Have experience/knowledge in Taxation (in particular those applicable to company)
  5. Have experience in the management of the event (training, workshop and seminar);
  6. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills required.
  7. Demonstrated experience working with governments, multi-donor agency and/or development partner;
  8. Fluency in written and spoken English and Bahasa Indonesia.
  9. Proficiency in MS Office and computer based finance application/system
  10. Other skills and competency:  Demonstrates ability in project finance and administrative management; strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skillsability to understand and effectively use information and data;   Experienced in international cooperation development projects;  Willing to travel during the project’s implementation when required; Ability to work in a team and individual.
