About the opportunity

PERINTIS is a community/economic empowerment pilot demonstration activity in support of the Palembang City Sewerage Project (PSCP). It offers a gender-sensitive, inclusive, and sustainable model to help increase the quality and quantity of household connections through a range of strategies including improving the economic and employment opportunities for disadvantage women, unemployed youth, and people living with a disability through demand driven training. The Administration, COVID-19 and Finance Specialist will provide support to the Team Leader, Deputy Team Leader and PERINTIS team members regarding the recording and management of all administration and financial issues. The person in this role will be directly responsible to ensure the COVID-19 safe plans are in-place and being implemented and that all COVID-19 consumable and equipment are in stock and well-managed in their allocation.


  • Position reports to: PERINTIS Team Leader
  • Location: Palembang, South Sumatera, Indonesia
  • Contract type: Long Term Position (6 months, plus possible extension)


About you

  • A Diploma III, first degree or higher in relevant fields of either business, finance accountancy, or government
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience as a business or finance manager, accountant
  • Demonstrated experience in working with business, government CSO/CBOs education and training institutes. training and education institutions
  • An understanding of the issues of supporting and empowering women, disadvantaged and vulnerable groups including people with disabilities.
  • Experience working with international donor organisations such as DFAT will be highly regarded.
