 Yayasan Plan International Indonesia is presently implementing its country strategic 4 (CS 4) covering fiscal year 2017 to 2022, where the country objective has been defined as “to identify and facilitate the removal of obstacles that prevent children from enjoying their rights and participating fully in Indonesian society”. The organisation’s purpose is to “strive for a just world that advances children’s rights and equality for girls”. This goal will be achieved by providing technical support and implementing quality programs and projects through partnership. An effective and efficient communications strategy is a must for Plan Indonesia to share the outcomes of these projects to influence different actors, specially state authorities and to position Plan’s profile within and outside at different levels – starting from community, sub district, district to national, regional and international levels.  Yayasan Plan International Indonesia invites highly competent, experienced and committed professionals to fill the following position :

Content Creator & Digital Admin          

Plan International is an independent development and humanitarian organization that advances children’s rights and equality for girls. In Indonesia, Plan International operates since 1969, and in 2017 Yayasan Plan International Indonesia (Plan Indonesia) was established as the national entity of Plan International in Indonesia. As one of local non-profit organization, Plan Indonesia has established Resource Mobilization Department to raise wider supports from local donors.

Resource Mobilization has launched variations of local fundraising programs engaging local donors with various channels of fundraising. This includes enhancing fundraising strategy not just only limited to conventional fundraising initiatives but also optimizing in digital channels. Digital channels such as social media and owned digital platforms now play a big part in most modern industries as well as NGOs to be more reachable to its stakeholders and drive more charitable profits.

By developing an integrated digital strategy, Digital Fundraising Unit will be able to improve Plan Indonesia’s awareness and exposure to the public by ensuring that information about organization activities and campaigns can be easily promoted and accessed through all of its communication channels especially digital channels. Not only for advocacy necessity but also as part of fundraising effort. That is why Plan Indonesia needs to be more focused on leveraging social media and websites by producing high-quality content and strong fundraising appeal. Therefore, Resource Mobilization Team, sees that the urgency to have additional staff in the Digital Fundraising team is high, to ensure Plan Indonesia’s digital strategy performed successfully.

Content Creator & Digital Admin will be responsible in the fundraising functions for individual donors, responsible for creating visual content and copywriting for digital initiatives and act as social media or digital platform admin. S/he will support the Digital Fundraising Team to establish engaging and impactful fundraising appeals.


  • Support the Digital Fundraising Specialist in developing, implementing and managing fundraising initiatives
  • Support the Digital Fundraising Specialist in tracking campaign result and providing campaign report.
  • Assisting work with third party service providers related to digital fundraising initiatives.


Program Implementation, Monitoring, and Evaluation
  • Act as social media admin manage fundraising social media account ( Jelajat Timur ) anda upcomeing FR intitiatives
  • Create editorial plan visual content and copywriting for fundraising social media accoount
  • Assist in developing digital fundraising materials
  • Assist in managing relations with vendors including supervising deliverables, schedule and invoices
  • Assist in executing fundraising initiatives and activations (including merchandising)
  • Actively participate in brainstorming for developing content ideas & activations
  • Provide monthly monitoring report for social media and digital activations

Communication and Influencing

To ensure fundraising materials comply with Plan Indonesia brand and communication guideline

Financial and Administration

  1. Support the Digital Fundraising Specialist preparing and ensuring administration and financial support document of project activities according to the implementation and expenditure.
  2. Support the Digital Fundraising Specialist to oversee and administer the day-today activities of the project; follow the policies, procedures, and systems of Yayasan Plan International Indonesia which ensure productive and efficient office operation

Safeguarding of Children and Young People  

Ensures that Plan International’s global policies for Safeguarding Children and Young People and Gender Equality and Inclusion are fully embedded in accordance with the principles and requirements of the policy including relevant Implementation Standards and Guidelines as applicable to their area of responsibility. This includes, but is not limited to, ensuring staff and associates are aware of and understand their responsibilities under these policies and Plan International’s Code of Conduct (CoC), their relevance to their area of work, and that concerns are reported and managed in accordance with the appropriate procedures.



  1. Senior Manager for Individual Fundraiser: indirect report and provide technical support
  2. Digital Fundraising Specialist: direct report, supervision, provide technical support, mentoring, and capacity building
  3. Marketing and Communications Specialist: coordinate and working together to develop communication and campaign
  4. Gender and Inclusion Specialist: liaise and coordinate for support to ensure the gender transformative values is implemented
  5. Safeguarding Adviser: liaise and coordinate for support to ensure the Safeguarding Policy is implemented
  6. Finance and Admin: coordinate for budget monitoring, admin, and financial report


  1. Vendors (digital agency, campaign consultant, visual designer, or production vendor)
  2. Public fundraisers and influencers



  • Bachelor's Degree or minimum 1 year experience in social media and or digital industries
  • Working experience as content creator (both visual image and video will be an advantage)
  • Adequate experience in design applications (Adobe/Canva, Mobile Image and Video editing app)
  • Demonstrated excellence in writing, proofreading, and editing.
  • Excellent research, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Strong creative writing skill, aesthetic sense and out of the box thinking
  • Good communication skills (written and verbal) in English and Indonesian language
  • Highly motivated and energetic, ability to show initiative and work independently;
  • Interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with all levels of internal management and staff, as well as outside clients and vendors;
  • Ability to handle diverse, simultaneous tasks, meet deadlines, and work efficiently without compromising quality or accuracy.
