Urgently Needed for Agriculture Resilience Analyst, Marine & Coastal Resilience Analyst, and Water Resilience Analyst

 Direktorat Lingkungan Hidup Kementerian PPN/Bappenas in Collaboration with Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) for Implementation of Climate Change Strategy Project Phase 2. Urgently Needed for Agriculture Resilience Analyst, Marine & Coastal Resilience Analyst, and Water Resilience Analyst with requirements detail below:

Agriculture Resilience Analyst

The position is assigned to a mature, independent, and professional their field for government program development, policy and strategy development, program management, monitoring and evaluation, reporting mechanism, capacity building, and organizational development.  There is one (1) vacancy nedeed for the Agriculture Resilience Analyst. The requirements of this position are as follows:

1. At least Master Degree in the field of Climatology/ Agriculture/ Environmental Science or related fields.

2. At least 2 years of experience in climate change and sustainable development, especially in agroclimate and agriculture resilience.

3. Familiar with the development planning process, government system/procedure, and hierarchy of laws, especially related to climate change.

4. Familiar with analytical instruments to analyze the development planning document, i.e., logical framework analysis, fishbone analysis, and other similar instruments.

5. Excellent computer software knowledge to support the analysis of spatial and tabular/statistic data, especially Microsoft Office and GIS-based applications.

6. Excellent writing and communication skills in English and comfortable working in a team with different skills and backgrounds.

7. Excellent writing skill on the formulation of scientific articles or research (publishing articles national or international) is preferable.

8. At least 3 years experience in working with the national government, NGOs, and/or development partners, especially with JICA and other international organizations (preferable).

9. Experience in developing and formulating a development planning document on climate change adaptation (preferable).

10. Excellent knowledge of formulating the planning, monitoring, evaluation, and reporting of development planning (preferable).

 

Marine & Coastal Resilience Analyst

The position is assigned to a mature, independent, and professional their field for government program development, policy and strategy development, program management, monitoring and evaluation, reporting mechanism, capacity building, and organizational development.  There is one (1) vacancy nedeed for the Marine&Coastal Resilience Analyst. The requirements of this position are as follows:

1. At least Master Degree in the field of Marine Science/Coastal Engineering/ Environmental Science/ Environmental Engineering/ Urban Planning or related fields.

2. At least 2 years of experience in climate change and sustainable development, especially in marine science/coastal engineering/public policy.

3. Familiar with the development planning process, government system/procedure, and hierarchy of laws, especially related to climate change.

4. Familiar with analytical instruments to analyze the development planning document, i.e., logical framework analysis, fishbone analysis, and other similar instruments.

5. Excellent computer software knowledge to support the analysis of spatial and tabular/statistic data, especially Microsoft Office and GIS-based applications.

Water Resilience Analyst

The position is assigned to a mature, independent, and professional their field for government program development, policy and strategy development, program management, monitoring and evaluation, reporting mechanism, capacity building, and organizational development.  There is one (1) vacancy nedeed for the Water Resilience Analyst. The requirements of this position are as follows:

1.  At least Master Degree in the field of Environmental Science/ Geography/ Landscape Architecture/ Forestry/ Civil Engineering/ Earth Science or related fields.

2. At least 2 years of experience in climate change and sustainable development, especially in ecosystem services of water availability, spatial analysis of flood and land slide disaster potential.

3. Familiar with the development planning process, government system/procedure, and hierarchy of laws, especially related to climate change.

4. Familiar with analytical instruments to analyze the development planning document, i.e., logical framework analysis, fishbone analysis, and other similar instruments.

5. Excellent computer software knowledge to support the analysis of spatial and tabular/statistic data, especially Microsoft Office and GIS-based applications.

6. Excellent writing and communication skills in English and comfortable working in a team with different skills and backgrounds.
