Palladium is appointed by USAID to manage USAID-funded Health technical Assistance Project (BANTU), to support USAID Indonesia’s Country Development Cooperation Strategy (CDCS) by rapidly leveraging specialized short and long-term technical assistance to USAID, USAID-funded programs; the Government of Indonesia (GOI), and other organizations and agencies as required.

We are currently seeking a short-term Supply Chain Consultant to be seconded to the Health Crisis Center, the Ministry of Health, to ensure the monitoring system for distribution and allocation of health logistics to support pandemic response and help the Government of Indonesia to mitigate global health security risks.

JOB SUMMARY:

The USAID/Indonesia Emerging Infectious Diseases (EID) program is looking for 1 (1) short-term Supply Chain Consultant to ensure the management integration/engagement to improve the performance of Health Sector Crisis Center. The consultant will support the Senior Advisor in the development of supply chain management and logistic distribution, as well as monitor and evaluate the COVID-19 logistic particularly in ensuring the effective collaboration among relevant sectors, institution, and partners. The individual will participate in the technical meeting and discussion related to logistic assessment to identify progress, gaps and recommended ways forward. He/she will advise and support the Health Crisis Center to support issue related to logistic and supply chain, as well as planning, implementation and monitoring and evaluation for logistic at national and provincial level in collaboration with other stakeholders.

This short-term position is for Indonesian (local hire) for a three (3) month period each, with day-to-day technical guidance and leadership of the Director of Health Crisis Center and Emerging Infectious Diseases Team Lead, USAID Office of Health.

REQUIREMENTS: Degree in Social Science, management, pharmacist and other health related degree, with Public Health Logistic Supply Chain experience; more than ten (10) years of progressive experience with the logistic management of health programs in Indonesia; demonstrate experience in national communication, coordination, and multisectoral collaboration related to Health logistic; experienced and familiar with Government of Indonesia regulation and Ministry of Health mechanism; fluency in both written and spoken English level-3; must be able to independently prepare and edit technical documents and correspondence, and make formal presentations in English and Bahasa Indonesia; possess high degree of interpersonal, technical, communication, managerial, planning, negotiating and problem solving skills.
