Subcontractor for Implementation of Tuberculosis Revised District Public Private Mix (DPPM) Strategy

FHI 360 USAID TB Private Sector (TBPS) Activity (‘the Activity’) supports the Government of Indonesia to partner with health providers in the private sector to increase TB case detection and notification as well as to enhance access to state-of-the-art diagnostics and treatment to achieve a TB-free Indonesia. TBPS targets five private sector groups of providers: general practitioners (GPs), clinics, hospitals, pharmacies and laboratories.

Insufficient private sector engagement is an important factor hampering current TB control efforts in Indonesia. The Activity’s strategies include the introduction of health care financing schemes that provide adequate incentives and enablers for providers; efforts to ensure consistent and reliable access to high-quality diagnostic tools and appropriate treatment regimens, including fixed-dose combinations (FDCs); improved private sector providers’ technical competencies in TB care; simple and user-friendly tools for notification; improved access to  treatment adherence monitoring tools and effective governance of public-private mix TB services.

RFP for TBPS Indonesia: FHI 360 is seeking subcontractors to serve as an intermediary partner to implement the District Public Private Mix (DPPM) model in Medan & Denpasar and effectively link public and private health providers in TB programs. We request the potential subcontractor to submit Letter of Interest to procurementIndoTBPS@fhi360.org. The interested potential subcontractors will be invited to attend a live Q&A and technical briefing prior to full proposal submission. The full RFP document can be access at https://solicitations.fhi360.org/Solicitation.aspx for your reference.
