Portfolio Manager
Employment start: 1 January 2021
Contract duration: 1 year with option of renewal
Place of work: Jakarta
Tasks
· Support the country strategy to expand our project portfolio
· Scan the development landscape for suitable opportunities to expand the portfolio
· Networking, relation management, brand positioning and customization of SC offer with relevant development agencies, implementing contractors, consultancies, and NGOs
· Develop an opportunity pipeline for coming 3 years based on tenders, EOI and proposals
· Team formation for responding to tenders
· Technical and financial proposal management
Requirements
· Established public relations and networking skills
· Well networked with development agencies like USAID, MCA-I, DFAT, GIZ, the Nordic donors among others
· Well networked with the private sector and related platforms
· Fund raising experience in responding to tenders, submitting unsolicited proposals and project design and ability to manage plans and processes for this
· Experience of working in the areas of skills development, value chains, commodity supply chains with a focus on private sector engagement
· Degree and professional experience in a technical field related to Swisscontact’s portfolio
· Strong management and negotiation skills
· Independent and yet a team player able to perform well under limited supervision
· Fluent in English and Bahasa
