USAID/INDONESIA ECONOMIC GROWTH SUPPORT ACTIVITY (EGSA)

PURPOSE

The Government of Indonesia is committed to strengthening the local government system of the country which has been reiterated in different policy documents. After political and administrative decentralization, fiscal decentralization may effectively contribute to strengthening the local government system in the country. Strengthening local governance has been a key focus of not only the government of Indonesia but also of different development partners/agencies.

The objective of this consultancy is to support Fiscal Policy Agency (FPA) of the Ministry of Finance (MOF) in conducting a study to review the effectiveness of the implementation of fiscal decentralization policy over the last two decades (2000 – 2020) and analyzing policy interventions for widening fiscal decentralization of local government.
