Call for Proposal: Consultant for Indonesia Energy Transition Research - Oxfam in Indonesia Job Vacancy

Are you a Master's degree or equivalent in a relevant sector such as engineering, public policy, economics, politics, or international development?

Do you have prominent research experience and analytical skill?

Working arrangement and Mechanism

S/he will work closely under the supervision of Ridwan Kurniawan (Project Coordinator of Oxfam Indonesia) and Pamela Simamora (Research Coordinator of IESR). The close coordination is at minimum once a week. Therefore, all related to the context of work should be informed and under consultation with both people.

S/he will be working at home by implementing the protocol of COVID-19 based on government regulation and all procedures related to it. Coordination can be made through an online call.

S/he will compile and organize all raw research material (free or paid journals/articles) and make the resource accessible to Oxfam Indonesia and IESR.

S/he will require a final report to enable completeness of tasks by jotting down all achievements as per agreement and challenges that may arise during the assignment.

All copyrights of the research will be under Oxfam Indonesia with credit for IESR. The name of the researcher and the institution will be mentioned as a writer. Oxfam Indonesia will arrange the distribution of research works and raw material from this work.

Requirements

An institution or group of experts led by one expert demonstrating a minimum of eight years of experience in the energy sector and a minimum of 5 years of experience in the Indonesia energy sector. The demonstration of work experience can come from the institution experience and/or the team leader

Each team member has a minimum of a Master's degree or equivalent in a relevant sector such as engineering, public policy, economics, politics, or international development. Higher education background is preferred.

Each team member demonstrated prominent research experience and analytical skill

Excellent in research writing both in English and Bahasa Indonesia
