The World Agroforestry (also known as ICRAF) in Southeast Asia is the region’s leading agroforestry research-in-development organization which generates science-based knowledge about the complex role trees play in agricultural landscapes and rural livelihoods. As part of the Centre’s work to bring tree-based solutions to bear on poverty and environmental problems, researchers – working in close collaboration with partners – are developing new technologies, tools and policy recommendations for increased food security and ecosystem health.

The Centre’s headquarters are located in Nairobi, Kenya, and research is conducted in 34 countries in Africa, Asia and Latin America. We are supported by the Consultative Group on International Agricultural Research (CGIAR) and receive funding from over 50 different donors.

About the position

Responsible to process of system creating, sharing, using and managing the knowledge assets and information of the Indonesian Country Program. It refers to a multidisciplinary approach, initiatives and processes to achieving Program objectives and strategic requirements by making the best use of knowledge assets and information. He/She must therefore create/provide the right tools, people involved, knowledge skills, structures, etc., so as to enhance learning; it must understand the value and applications of the new knowledge system created; it must store the knowledge and information assets/collections and make it readily available and accessible for dissemination to the internal and external users at the right time; and it must continuously updated, integrated, apply, refine of the program and project research activities in conjunction with long and short term needs.

Junior Accountant

Requirements

·       Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (communications, media, international relations, public policy, development, marketing, science, project management, law etc.).


·       Prior experience as an Information and Technology Administrator or Knowledge and Information Management.

Personal Competencies


·         High proficiency in computer software applications and technology.


·         Excellent in standard databases system and platform.


·         Exceptional presentation and creating guideline and procedure.


·         Passionate about creating solutions for problems.


·         Sharp attention to detail for troubleshooting errors.


·         Computer literate (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, or any office application).


·         Basic administrative and documentation skills.


·         Well organized; able to meet deadlines, good understanding of time management.


·         Proactive and self-motivated, able to work independently as well as in a team.


·         Good interpersonal skills and ability to work well in multi-cultural teams.


·         Demonstrated effective written and verbal communication skills (Indonesian and English).
